Top destinations in Cancun, Mexico and top plane tickets

You must see Cancun, Mexico at least once and best airline tickets? Most of Cancún’s top resorts are built with direct access to the beaches, known locally as “playas.” You’ll enjoy stunning views over the sparkling, crystal-clear waters that make this destination so popular with tourists seeking a memorable Mexico vacation. Cancún, in fact, consists of a number of long stretches of beach, and while regular visitors may have their preferences, it’s certainly hard to go wrong-they’re all nice and have something great to offer. Among the most popular playas are de las Perlas, Juventud, Linda, Langosta, Tortugas, Caracol, and Chac-mool, some of them lying alongside the Boulevard Cancún and the Paseo Kukulkán all the way from the city boundary (of these, Tortugas, Caracol, and Chac-mool tend to be the busiest). Also of interest is the seven-and-a-half-kilometer-long Paseo Kukulkán, alongside which is an 18-hole public golf course known as Pok-ta-Pok.

You will realize once you step off the ferry, just how small Isla Mujeres really is. In fact, the only way to get around the island is by golf cart! Sure, there are plenty of beaches and shops within walking distance of the ferry dock, however, renting a golf cart for the day allows you to drive around the whole island in a short amount of time, and get you from point A to point B, much faster. There are quite a few different golf cart shops around the island for you to choose from, that are all affordable and convenient. One of the top-rated shops is Isla Mujeres Golf Cart Rentals. Here’s what one visitor had to say about her experience with this particular shop: “This is the ONLY company you should be renting with on Isla! Alex is the absolute best! Our golf cart stalled in the middle of a downpour and he personally came to get us, drove us to grab dinner and then followed up when our cart was ready. Completely unexpected and exceeded our expectations 100%. Thanks, Alex and the crew at Pepe’s, we will be back!!!” – Nikki

Snorkelling in Isla Mujeres: If you are a beginner and haven’t done much snorkelling in the past, the best place to snorkel is El Farito. El Farito, to the north of the island, is shallow and perfect for beginners to see schools of colourful fish. Los Machones is more suited to advance snorkellers with a depth of 35 – 40 feet. Other amazing snorkel sites include MUSA , Garrafon Natural Reef Park and Isla Contoy. For more snorkelling and diving, don’t miss Mexico’s most popular island and all of the incredible things to do in Cozumel! Experience The Zocalo: Every Mexican town has a central square called a Zocalo (it’s one of the best things to do in Mexico City as well). I recommend visiting the Zocalo on Isla Mujeres in the evening, as you’ll find food vendors selling tasty local Mexican street food. Plus, there’s music, entertainment and dancing.

A Tezmacal ritual is a traditional Mayan ceremony of purification which takes place in a tiny hut. You strip down to your underwear (or swimsuit), then enter the sweat lodge which is heated with hot rocks & water, turning it into a steamy sauna. The ceremony is led by a local shaman, who conducts the ritual and takes care of participants. The tezmacal ceremony takes place in complete darkness, as the shaman pours water over the hot rocks, chanting and using different herbs to summon spirits. Temazcal was performed since ancient times, is seen as a purification ceremony that cleans the body, mind, and soul. As your body is sweating in the tiny hut, you enter a deep state of meditation, enhanced by the shamanic chanting. See even more information on here.
